Yamu's Breeze Opening Friday

The island dining scene is about to get a boost this Friday April 20th with the opening of Breeze Restaurant at Cape Yamu.

Canadian Chef Cheryl Johnson who was last at Montreal's Restaurant Toque and Brasserie is a welcome addition to Phuket's eating scene.

Breeze is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 4pm with a last table seating at 10pm. For reservations call 081 271 2320.

Other quick bites has us looking for the May debut of Lucky 13, on the Surin Strip. Here is a partnership between Kevin Boland and Michel Lu who opened a Miami styled dining lounge in Singapore.

A Cuban-inspired menu and first outlet already packing them in the Lion City. Culinary Director Garfield Angove is working furiously on creating inspired and original dishes.

Speaking to Kevin, he says the underlying theme is great and accessible food with absolutely reasonable prices.

Coincidently Lucky 13 is located directly next to the recently opened Bocconcino.

Last but not least in the coming soon category will see a Northern branch of the vegan Living Food Caf open in Cherngtalay, across the street from the Lotus Tesco.

Hailing organic, raw and vegan food, the existing caf in Rawai already has a strong following.
