Upstart Airline Announces Direct Melbourne Service

Emerging Australian carrier Strategic Airlines will launched direct Melbourne to Phuket flights on February 22 next year.

Initially set to twice weekly, an Airbus A-330 will be put into service. Special promotions fairs of A$299 - one way or A$598 round trip are currently available on the airlines website CLICK

The airline started out as a freight carrier and has moved into the spector of regular passenger services and charter.

A jump into the larger playing field was made by means of the acquision of domestic carrier OzJet last year.

Another international service to Bali is also underway.
