Koh Chang which is located in the Gulf of Siam off the eastern seaboard will benefit from a 5 year tourism master plan.
Government sponsored aid through DASTA (Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration) will fund the initiative.
According to reports THB340 million has been allocated for the program.
Both Koh Chang and the surrounding islands will be targeting green and sustainable initiatives
