One of this year's best tourism initiatives is The Phuket News children's colouring book.
There are 22 island scenes including Phuket town, Wat Chalong, Cape Promthep, and other local sights such as an elephant, street stall and Muay Thai.
Authored by artist Sophie Crichton, all proceeds to the Phuket Has Been Good to Us Foundation.
My kids love the book and it's a breath of fresh air to see some positive ink about the island.

While we hope for the best that Phuket's new airport expansion will have some green focus, it's encouraging to view Singapore's Changi as setting a global standard.
