The international firm scene is set to descend on the island today as the Phuket Film Festival is set to run from June 4 to 13 at Phuket City's Coliseum Paradise.
An opening gala will be held tomorrow June 5 at Royal Phuket Marina's Town Square.
Another special event will be held at Cape Yamu on June 8th where Director Darnell Martin who's film Cadillac Records will be on hand to meet the public.

While John Hardy and his Ubud Green School and Green Village have been at the groundswell of sustainable building materials, the area has sprouted other pioneering initiatives.
While we hope for the best that Phuket's new airport expansion will have some green focus, it's encouraging to view Singapore's Changi as setting a global standard.
