Iconic business publication Forbes magazine is out with their latest billionaires list and three Thais have been included.
Topping the list at USD6.5 billion is Dhanin Chearavanont who is best known for interests in Lotus superstores, CP convenience stores and True Corporate.
Next up with USD5 billion is the co-founder of the Red Bull energy drink empire Chaleo Yoovidhya.
Rounding up with third place is Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi of Thai Beverage and TCC Land.
Amazingly enough Charoen is the son of a Bangkok street vendor who came to prominence at Thailand's whiskey king and now controls an empire of hotels across the globe as well as in Thailand.
