In a forum organized by the International Business Associate of Phuket (IBAP) on the islands economy this coming Friday May 15th, thephuketinsider.com will be joined by leading media figures Nick Davies Editor of The Phuket Gazette, Alan Morison of online news site Phuketwan, and respected industry veteran Alasdair Forbes of the Phuketobserver.

It looks to be a lively discussion which will include questions and answers from the attendees on current affairs and how the media is covering this ongoing story of an island coping with the effects of the current economic and political crises and what may be in store. The meeting was well attended by a diverse range of business people throughout Phuket who responded to the panel with many interesting & probing questions. The members of the panel all made informative & thoughtful responses. One of the best IBAP meetings of recent times & the promised Legal Eagles meeting for next month should be the icing on the cake. All of you who have the best interests of Phuket at heart should attend & take part in what should be another very informative & interesting panel discussion.

Thanks Bill. Next months event is our "Legal Eagles" Program, featuring a Panel of Phuket lawyers who will be available to answer members questions. Good turnout, the IBAP format is alive and well and impression with the attendance and good organization of the event, if you havent been to IBAP for a while is worth goign to the next event.
