A new 50 million baht private jet terminal has been opened by MJETS Ltd. at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport. The company which includes an ownership interest by tycoon Bill Heineke of the Minor Group won a 5 year concession by AoT to operate the facility.
MJETS is offering charter services throughout Thailand and the region with a fleet of three aircraft including a Piper Malibu Mirage, Cessna Citation X, and Cessna Citation CJ3. It's been reported the operation is anticipating nearly 50 flights a month.
Part of the AoT upgrading plans at Phuket International Airport (PIA) call for a similar facility to be operated on the island as well.
