Phuket cruise company Tawan Cruises have launched trips in Phang Nga Bay on high speed rigid inflatable boats (RIBS).

A new venture has been set up under Tawan Sea Adventures these performance craft which hit speeds of 40 knots providing spills and thrills for adventure minds travelers.

Often referred to as "Ballistic" RIB's, they carry up to 10 passengers. Trips leave Ao Po Grand Marina on the East Coast and take 3 ½ hours which include a 30 minute stop for snacks.

The cost is THB3900 per person and only children aged 7 and over can be accommodated.
