One of the island's strongest retail shopping malls Central Fesitival is undergoing a THB500 million upgrade.

A new feature will include the opening of the previously reserved 4th floor and increase in retail space to 53,000 square meters.

According to reports in the press by the management of the mall current footfall or traffic averages 10,000 to 15,000 per day with an estimated 40% of these tourists.

As the island's tourism numbers surge retail activity is on the upswing.
