PHUKET EXCLUSIVE Thaksin To Advise African Nation Zamunda

Back of the controversial appointment of ex Thai Prime Minister Thaksin as an economic advisor to Cambodia, thephuketinsider in an exclusive has learned a pending appointment to the small African nation of Zamunda.

While recent press reports have indicated the deposed head of state will also advise Sri Lanka, the small nation of Zamunda which is rich in natural resources looks set to try to catapult the country onto the world's stage.

At the time of going to press we were unable to obtain comments by the press secretary of Zamunda's ruling monarch King Jaffer Joffer; though this looks to be set as a developing story.

The Zamunda story had a happy ending... Not sure about Thailand...

we have it on more reliable authority from our South African cousins that TS has indeed been in contact in Africa recently with the often heard of but less frequently sighted Warethefarkarwe tribe on channeling new sovereign fund investments in 2010 in hotels and casinos he has planned for HKT through Sri Lankan and Cambodian investment vehicles.

Let's hope other countries recognize the value of democracy, where a man elected through free elections was first deposed by a military coup d'etat and then convicted in a weird trial.
