Premium Outlets have opened a designer/brand name dedicated shopping mall aimed mainly at Phuket's tourist market. Located on the islands primary transportation artery Bypass Road the development looks to give stiff competition to Central Festival and Jungceylon mega malls. . The islands retail sector gets an additional boost with customers from neighboring Phang Nga and Krabi province as well as a thriving expatriate community which continues to grow back of the residential housing boom and influx of supply.
