OPERATING COSTS SKYROCKET Thailand's Inflation Rising Fast
Last months January figures for Thailand inflation saw increases top a sixteen-month period tallying in just over 4%. Key upward movement in commodities including food and energy are hitting consumers and look to have a further knock on effect to the Government mandated minimum wage.
As prices move upward businesses look set to be hit with higher expenses while the construction sector looks to see movement upward in costs.
