New Italian Eatery Hits Surin Beach

Cefalu, a new Italian dining outlet has hit the Surin beach front.

For those who want a great spot to see the sunset or put their toes into the sand the outlet is operated by Duilio Lazarra who formerly owned the Boat Lagoon eatery La Taverna.

Good Italian food, pizza and our course wine come in an affordable package where the enviable location comes into play.

Surin continues to back them in with Catch Beachclub, StereoLab, Taste and work on a new Manathai outlet on the strip is in the works.

With all these great eateries turning up on Surin Beach it is such a pity that the beach area is such a mess. The garbage strewn around, the stench of sewage, the general lack of attention to cleanliness is a real pity. Perhaps all these top end guys can band together for a beach and park clean up committee to solve this problem

Had a great dinner there the other night. The Owner and manager did an outstanding job fixing a minor problem. Very enjoyable mix of Italian eatery and beach hut. Reasonable prices. Will be back soon.
