New High Speed Ferry to Samui Slashes 40% Off Time

A new high speed ferry service to the resort destination of Koh Samui from Surat Thani has slashed nearly 40% off travel time which is now only 45 minutes.

Previously it took roughly 2 hours for the same distance prior to the roll out of the express catamaran's which ply the mainland from Donsak to Nathon.

Certainly Greater Phuket could use such transportation from the island to Koh Lanta and Krabi, so hopefully moves will come in the future.

Could you please let me know where this ferry departs from as there are two ferry stations.... i will travel to samui over the next few days and would like to try it out... :)
