New Chief for Phuket TAT Regional Office

The island has a new tourism chief as Khun Bangornrat Shinaprayoon has assumed the role for Tourism Authority for Thailand (TAT) in charge of the southern Region 4. Taking over from well respected Sethaphan Buddhani who has been transferred to India the new Director has been quoted as being extremely optimistic on the prospects of the coming high season and clearly understands the importance of tourism as Phuket leading economic indicator.
this is another great move for Phuket and i am sure that 2010 will se the return of tourists to this great island
