Phuket has a new Honorary Australian Consul, Michelle Hawryluk.
Michelle a partner in the legal firm of Haris and Hawryluk.
While she is a Canadian citizen, she is licensed to practice law in both Australia and the US.
She is married to a Thai national.
Having known her since she set up her practice here, she is a good choice for the post given her Thai background and also is an extremely conscientious hard working individual.
