Myanmar's World War II historical landmark 'death railway' will be restored.

Industry publication TTR Weekly has reported that a 150-mile stretch will be put into service as a tourist attraction.

During the war, a large number of Allied prisoners of war and Asian's lost their lives during the construction of the link between Yangon and Bangkok.

Here in Thailand the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai location in Kanchanburi is a well-established draw card.
