Direct service by Myanmar's Air Bagan from Yangon to Phuket will commence the in the first week of December according to an airline spokesperson.
Currently they operate a large domestic network along with international service to Chiang Mai and Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur.
The airline has a fleet of Airbus A-300, Fokker and ATR aircraft. New routes in planning include Kunming, Siem Reap, Bangkok and Singapore.
