As domestic consumer spending continues to ramp up, coupled with a rising expat population MLM or multi-level marketing schemes are abound.

Terminology is always tricky but this umbrella ranges from the newer term network marketing, though referral sales, down to pyramids and even Ponzi schemes.

Selling is often done visually and of course those pyramids promoting value to the buyer.

For those who comes across these -too good to be true opportunities' it's advisable to not make emotional purchases.

Take your time, do research and if thing indeed do go wrong look at how resolution though the Thai Consumer Act can assist.
