Never mind DVD's but DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is just another of those nasty little nuances of economy class syndrome.

Now leading Hong Kong based carrier Cathay Pacific will bring on Premium Economy by the second quarter of 2012.

Long and medium haul destinations will be served by the new class for service, where for a bit of extra dough you can actually stretch the legs a bit and not have a reclined seat smash you in the face from the passenger in front of you.

While DVT still remains a reality, at least for those willing to spend a bit more without having to shell out your life savings for a business class ticket there will be travel
