May figures are on and only two airports run by AoT showed year on year growth in Thailand. Phuket rose by 18% and Don Mueang a sizable increase of 64% (note this is mainly due to increased flights using the airport as Suvarnabhumi sunk 9.5%.
In other related news the Government is looking to boost spending by the domestic market by offering a tax deduction incentive for local travel.

We spoke to the AoT office in Bangkok and the numbers get posted into their site on a regular basis. It's important to note, in April 2009 the yellow shirt issue hit the airport in BKK and business in May was extremley hit, hence last years base was low already.
