The emerging markets of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar remain a strategic triangle with Bangkok clearly the hub going into the smaller spokes for long haul visitors.
Media reports have German carrier Lufthansa looking at the possibility of developing flights into these markets from Bangkok.
Lufthansa currently flies to Vietnam and acknowledges the two-way opportunities for business and leisure travelers coming from aboard and also relatives of immigrants returning to Indochina to visit or conduct business.
