A new 700 seat Las Vegas styled theatre is set to open at Patong's Jungceyon shopping complex.

Nightly entertainment will be on tap as Joe Conrad's Magic Theatre will offer world class illusions.

There is a new wave of demand for tourist attractions on the island given the rise in tour groups and volume based arrivals so the timing looks to be spot on.

Aside from Kamala's Fantasea and West Sands Splash Jungle family offering in Phuket remains sparse so demand looks to be on the upswing.

Went to the show with my family and my daughters husbands family, the show is ok, but what baffled me and the family was that on one of the illusions the skirt of one of the performing girls got caught on the levitation, so we could see it was not real, which was a laugh but come on a bit more professional please! We had a good laugh about this after! I have seen a similar show in Amsterdam and London but no new surprises except the skirt! I have a video also of this which i will put on youtube from my son. If it is raining go but if its a beautiful Phuket night spend your money in a nice restaurant.

If I may just correct one small thing. It isn't a dinner theatre, just a theatre, apart from that it looks good.
