LAG The Ominous Blue Light

A life lived in Asia has its own inherent up and downside.

The sheer distance sits on both sides just like that annoying country Switzerland who can't quite make up their mind, muddling in neutrality and indecision.

I've gotten off a 24 hour door to door trip to Los Angeles, and settled into my sister's guest room.

It's three am, the house sleeps except me. My face is bathed in the blue light of the television.

I'm an unwitting passenger on the good ship jet lag.

Channel surfing breaks the monotony, America is a country while they can't seem to fix the world, offers a cure for everything that ails modern life.

In the span of the last 15 minutes I've found God, lost 15 pounds through mind control, found out the US Government cannot make you pay taxes, learned to speak Spanish or Phoenician or both.

Every single nut in the universe seems to be in on the conspiracy, self help, self realization, or that adult channel self...well let's not get into that.

My battery powers magic want transports me to a deeply strange and worrying work, as I frantically call out the name Alice, looking for an express elevator back up the rabbit hole...

Sleep remains elusive and the more bizarreness just a click away...
