Today let's talk about size.

Phuket is 542 square kilometers.

As a comparison this makes it approximately the same size as Singapore.

Hong Kong is roughly 1,104 square kilometers.

Some references apply to Phuket province which is about 570 square kilometers but this includes offshore islands.

Phuket is Thailand's largest island.

So much for today's geography lesson, school's out.
