Once vaunted by the Thai government as a leading tourism and investment strategy for foreigners Thailand Privilege Card Co. appears to be on its last legs.
It's been reported the current political administration is unsure about continuing visa privileges for new cardholders which is one of the fundamental benefits of cardholders.
While the program has created a quandary in government circles and continues to run at substantial losses current speculation is the unit will be bid to the private sector.
For now Thailand Elite which been a hyped initiative for creating a legion of new private investors to Thailand remains shrouded in uncertainty.
