Hajo i agree to some aspect of you post, however i would be highly appreciative if you could enlighten me about the "Phuket Party is on the beach, on poolsides maybe, in nice villas, gardens... outdoor"

the only place(s) that fits your description are the Catch Beach @ surin (not a real nightclub, and usually low-impact) and the steroLab @ surin (which will soon join sound as business is poor) ... baba @ panwa has potential but its still @ an embryonic stage.

the most popular clubs are the ones in Bang-la, Locked in small smoke filled / filthy rooms.

Closed for good or closed for the season?
Bill Barnett responds:
Under the existing management, this is the end.

Agree with hajo that the location, attitude, and vibe was a poor fit.. Tho I would think a Kalim type place, with a big pool area and like a modernized safari, would work well.. Like Samuis new Gecko.

Interesting, I have predicted that. Perhaps like many others. Phuket is not Bangkok and many BKK people have not much understanding of business in Phuket. Phuket Party is on the beach, on poolsides maybe, in nice villas, gardens... outdoor. But not in Clubs in Shopping Malls. Luckily!

Som na na, none of these companies carry out any market research.

How can you possible have any kind of business model whereby your income is only for 12 weeks of the year.
