Willy's wonderful word factory for the play Hamlet perhaps can best describe the state of hibernation over the proposed Phuket International Convention and Exhibition Center.

To be, or not to be? That is indeed the question.

Based on last week's reports in the Phuket Gazette and comments attributed to an advisor to the Interior Ministry, Shakespeare must be rolling over in his own grave with the same confusion the rest of us have.

Politics seems to have derailed the project which was approved by the Democrats before the present new regime came on stage.

At best the project continues to be under the shroud of 'under review' status, citing environmental concerns.

Meanwhile as Willy said "all the world's a stage, and all men and women merely players." Sounds about right to me.
