Centara Grand Karon Beach have opened the Ratri Italian Bar and Grill in Kata after undertaking an extreme makeover.
A renovation and repositioning of the outlet is taking the product upscale as a specialty restaurant.
Certainly the views have always been terrific but the former outlet which focused on jazz and Thai food never quite caught on.
With the Kata and Karon beach areas enjoying good year around occupancy the opportunity for a new outlet looks to be well timed.
While the restaurant is not located in the Centara Grand Resort, it will be operated as a satellite outlet.
