Reports have confirmed in that a Bangkok Airways flight from Krabi to Koh Samui has crashed on landing. It's been confirmed the pilot of the plane was killed and some passengers injured as the aircraft landed in heavy rains and skidded into the old control tower. Flights to the island current are suspended, and the airport at nearby Surat Thani being utilized.
