The growing tourism catchment area of Hua Hin, Pranburi and Cha-am are joining together in a cluster marketing and cooperation effort.
Back of an initiative of DASTA (Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism) Prachuap Khiri Khan and Phetchaburi provinces are coordinating a wider campaign is aimed at becoming competitive with other resort destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui and Pattaya.
While the area languished for decades as a domestic fueled weekend resort destination improvements in infrastructure, the entrance of a number of international hotel brands and a booming residential market has seen the region make vast strides in becoming a significant player in Thailand's tourism economy.
