It's getting close to Christmas and a my email mailbox is overflowing not only with spam, Nigerian lottery offers and Viagra promotions, but now an onslaught of androgynous holiday E cards.
Perhaps worse than finding a third cousin you never met on Facebook who wants to reconnect.
The box is growing from every part of the globe, from hotels I slept in once, restaurants, business and perhaps a growing number of people I have no recollection of ever meeting.
My fingers are numbed from hitting the delete button in quick fire succession.
Without a doubt I've purged important emails but I'm getting snowed under with impersonal holiday happy cards sent to a globally passive audience.
Please it must end....only three days to go, and of course the prospects of an entire new set of Near Years or socially correct Happy Holiday cards.
I do love Christmas, but E cards only bring out the Bad Santa inside the beast.
