Low-cost carrier AirAsia has commenced direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and the resort island of Lombok in Indonesia.
The airline joins Silk Air who already fly direct from Singapore in touting the growing destination which opened a new international airport last year.
Expectations are for the facility to continue to attract more direct flights given it also links up the popular nearby Gili islands.
