Russian carrier Aeroflot will commence 3 weekly flights using new Airbus A-330 planes on December 29th directly from Moscow to Phuket.
The airline has also launched direct service to the Maldives (Male) from November 3rd.
These will be seasonal flights and are part of the winter schedule for Aeroflot.
Currently airlift into Thailand from the growing Russian market has continued to increase. There is a marked rise in charter flights and the Thai Airways Moscow service is adding one additional fight a week.
