Listed Thai development firm Sansiri remains confident in a surging island domestic real estate market with the announcement of 3 new projects in Phuket.
The second dCondo Phuket Patong will have 663 units priced just under the magic one million baht waterline. Located on a plot of 5.2 rai with eight stories the unit sizes start at a Spartan 28 square meters.
It appears size does matter in the current housing segment be it Bangkok, Phuket or Pattaya.
An opening sales event has been set for January 27-29, the promo offers monthly installments of THB999.
Entry level condos remain space sensitive and the trend is to see a continued downsizing with some projects touching on the 20 square meter prototype.
In the capital city the BTS line (skytrain) remains a key driver of demand, but in Phuket pressure points on land pricing are virtually rewriting the map with inland properties in underdeveloped areas not making strong headway.
Slated for a February roll out will be two more Sansiri residential housing developments - Habitown and Habitia.
Last year's four hour sell out of the first dCondo with 556 units was our property event of the year.
