Malaysia continues to target more foreigners who want to live or work in the country.

According to media reports an Expatriate Services Department will be launched in March under the Immigration Department.

Aside from the property spured initiative Malaysia My Second Home, another program called Residence Pass-Talent allows foreigners to work for up to 10 years.

The RP-T program is also renewable.

Aside from Thailand's Retirement Visa program and BOI initiatives, the country has been slow to initiate any new incentives under the government of Yinkluck Shinawatra.
