Upscale Phuket real estate brokerage Hunter Sotheby's has opened a second office at the entrance of luxury resort Amanpuri.

Speaking to Andrew Hunter today at his Cherngtalay headquarters it was confirmed the new office is now operating and he is bullish about prospect's for this year's high season.

The timely expansion comes at a time when investor confidence in premium real estate is seeing renewed interest reported abroad.

Andrew pointed out that the island business bolstered by the international iconic names sees most demand at the upper scale in resort villas rather then mid tier mass markets.

For the company it provides a unique positioning point in a crowded market place.

One topical trend was in the continued surge of resales. He noted that there were few new offerings in the multi-million dollar ultra villa market despite rising interest, and that potential at the top end of the sector continued to languish.
