Welcome to the latest edition of thephuketinsider.com newsletter. It’s been a fast and furious few weeks attending the HICAP Update Singapore Hotel Investment Conference in Singapore and Thailand Travel Mart Bangkok. A number of new hotel openings have been announced along with brandings, and some flurry of comments by Thailand Director of the Land Department about Thai spouses being used as nominees to hold property.
One of the more interesting takes is from HICAP regarding 1st quarter 2009 results from the regions hotel and updates on who’s up and who’s not.
