As a result of lower than expected demand, AirAsia has reduced their daily fights between Bangkok and Colombo to three days a week.
Flights now operate on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
Unlike less nimble legacy carrier's budget airlines rarely operate loss leading routes and change schedules based on real time demand.
