Global giant Tesco's Chief Executive Terry Leahy has announced his retirement next March after 14 years leading the world's 3rd largest retail group.
Tesco share prices dropped on the news as the high profile personality which was given a "Sir" prefix after being Knighted by the Queen in 2002.
Leahy has publically stated that going forward he will be looking at pursuing private investment opportunities. Here in Phuket he remains a significant investor in the destination resort West Sands which includes the Splash Jungle Water Park.
