One of Phuket's most anticipated hotel openings, in what has been rebranded as Point Yamu by Como will see a staggered opening starting by the end of this year.

With 79 hotel rooms and 30 villas (a total of 109 keys), the property will be managed by Christina Ong's boutique luxury brand.

Lead architects are Denniston, with interiors by Paola Navone of Studio Otto, One Degree North on landscape and lsometrix for lighting.

On the real estate front the 30 hotel villas are comprised of 14 one bedroom and another 16 three bedroom villas with the latter being old and operated by the hotel

Another 16 villas, which range in size from 345 to 476 square meters, will come into the property market priced from USD3.2 to 4 million.

The adjacent luxury residential estate Cape Yamu is poised to open their Breeze restaurant shortly, with a top chef coming in from Canada.
