Six Senses Resorts and Spas has acquired full ownership of the Evason Resort in Rawai after coming to agreement with its former partner.
The resort has now been rebranded as Evason Phuket & Bon Island and is set to undergo a THB 100 million renovation.
An extensive refurbishment program has been planned over the next 12 months including upgrading of guest rooms and villas, restaurants, in-room technology and landscaping.
No plans for the closure of the property during the work is envisaged with majored set for the low season period.
Previously the resort had been known as Evason Phuket and Six Senses Spa, and the name change is part of a wider strategic tier realignment by the company.
