Six Senses Resorts and Spas has acquired full ownership of the Evason Resort in Rawai after coming to agreement with its former partner.

The resort has now been rebranded as Evason Phuket & Bon Island and is set to undergo a THB 100 million renovation.

An extensive refurbishment program has been planned over the next 12 months including upgrading of guest rooms and villas, restaurants, in-room technology and landscaping.

No plans for the closure of the property during the work is envisaged with majored set for the low season period.

Previously the resort had been known as Evason Phuket and Six Senses Spa, and the name change is part of a wider strategic tier realignment by the company.

Dear Alan, thanks for commenting on the issue around parking at the Evason Phuket. I agree that it is difficult especially when one wants to visit the restaurants. Since last week we have created a few parking slots directly at the entrance of our restaurants. This was done in view of making especially our signature restaurant Into The Sea more accessible for outside guests. Security is briefed to allow guests to drive straight to this space. Hope this will make things a little easier. If you have other suggestions, do let me know as I would be keen to improve this situation. Best regards, Frank Grassmann, General Manager.

Bill, If possible please make known to them that many object to the park and bus issue. I have a special arrangement to be put down at a certain other hotel with this system. This must be set up in advance. This is a nuisance and annoys me greatly.
