Shangri-La Launches Another Brand

Leading luxury hotel group Shangri- La Hotels and Resorts have launched a third brand aimed at the five star market.

Christened as Kerry Hotels the first opening took place last month in Shanghai with a second property located in Beijing. The existing Shangri-La Kerry Centre Hotel in China's capital is being renamed with the new brand.

Aside from the core namesake and now Kerry Hotels the group also operates a mid tier business focused product Traders.

Another Hong Kong based international chain New World Hospitality are reportedly rolling out a premium brand on top of their mainstay offering.

It's understood that the Emerald Bay site in South Patong will be affiliated to the new debut which is expected to announce a development timeline within this year.
