The tie up between the Red Planet Group and Tune Hotels has hit a pipeline of 1,175 rooms in Southeast Asia.
A limited service (budget) offering aimed at the low cost carrier crowd room sizes average 12 square meters. As with the LCC's a menu of add on amenities and services is available.
New projects include Bangkok, Pattaya, Jakarta, Manila, and Cebu. A Phuket project in Patong is reportedly on the drawing boards.
Tune is looking to cash up on its AirAsia heritage and common shareholding with founder Tony Fernandez.
