Back of the closing of the tender process for prospective purchasers of the high profile upscale Baan Taling Ngam Resort in Koh Samui, there is gathering speculation that a purchaser will be announced shortly.

The sale of the former Lehman's asset which is in the hands of the company liquidators; and being brokered by global firm JLL Hotels is being eyed by both the Thai and foreign hospitality investment market with considerable interest. Stay tuned.

We have a place near to the Baan Taling Ngam Resort and would be very interested to find out who the new owners are. Should I just keep watching this space or is there a site where this type of thing is announced? Any speculation that you know of?

Still no official announcement, speculation is the property is transacting so once news, we will check it out and report.
