Private Equity Firm Developing Phang Nga Luxury Resort

A new 79 villa luxury resort is being developed on Natai Beach just over the Sarasin Bridge in Phang Nga by Swiss private equity and real estate firm Thunderbird Investment Ltd.

Located on an approximately 19 rai oceanfront piece of land, near to the upscale Aleenta Resort; and on the same stretch of beach as some of Greater Phuket's most expensive residential estates including California Fitness guru Eric Levine.

Work is expected to commence within this year on the project. Management will be by the emerging Kameha brand. A specific fund is being set up for the project funding.

This is the first project of their Asia development plan, which includes projects in Vietnam, Laos and Bali.
