Patong's hotel supply continues to rise back of the The Kee Resort and Spa which is slated to open in November 2010 with 224 rooms. Aiming at the 4 star market back of 40 square meter guest rooms with an ultra modern design facilities will include multiple pools, library, meeting room, disco, sports bar and a KeeSpa and Wellness Centre.

An adjacent commercial complex Kee Plaza set to open this month has 60 shops and restaurants. The entertainment area of Patong is continuing to see an influx of midscale new build hotels coming up, with the vast majority being developed by local Phuket businesspeople.
