One of Phuket's leading homegrown hotel groups Burasari has expanded to the cultural destination of Luang Prabang in Laos.
The group has acquired and now operates the Burasari Heritage and Chang Inn.
This is not the only off island venture for the group given there well received Bangkok property Shanghai Mansion continues to carve a niche in the market.
Burasari is led by hospitality entrepreneur Lily Udomkunnatum.

While John Hardy and his Ubud Green School and Green Village have been at the groundswell of sustainable building materials, the area has sprouted other pioneering initiatives.
