OPENING SOON New SILK + Andara Resort and Villas

We took a sneak peak at the new Andara Resort and Villas on Millionaire's Mile in Kamala and spoke to General Manager Andrew Whitaker. A soft opening of the property is set for December 22 and grand launch set for February 13.

High-end SILK restaurant has also been relocated from The Plaza at Surin to the resort, with 120 seats and drinks and/or dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Andrew who recently returned from World Travel Mart in London said the response to the resort had been very positive with a good take up on it's luxury positioning alongside well heeled resorts such as Trisara, Amanpuri and Banyan Tree.

Back of our visit to the resort the sense of arrival is terrific and certainly Allan Zeman has pulled out all the stops in bringing his quality eye for detail to the islands hospitality scene.
